本文选取20世纪60时代的日本“物派”(Mono-ha)艺术作为研究对象,并和中国当代艺术作了深入的对比。二者之间虽处于不同时代背景,但比较研究依然有现实借鉴意义。 “物派”艺术是亚洲艺术出现的一个重要运动。无论从作品形态、还是创作观念而言,或者就区域文化与当代艺术的关系而言,“物派”艺术都应当引起我们的高度关注。 本文对“物派”艺术的分析中可以发现“物派”的最大价值在于它既源于东方文化自身,又是在国际性文化课题下展开的,而不仅仅是作为西方思潮的一个注脚出现的。这对于中国当代艺术的发展具有重要的学术价值。 本文在对中国当代艺术发展状态的特征与原由进行分析中,我们不难发现,中国当代艺术所面临的问题与“物派”艺术在当时文化境遇中又很多类似之处。 “物派”艺术家在如何面对传统文化、面对西方中心主义、西方艺术思潮的影响以及对构建不同于西方的“另一种现代性”等一系列问题上的探索都值得中国艺术家深入思考。 因此,我在研究过程中以艺术史作为比较研究的理论基础,以理论结合实际作为研究方法。不仅分析了“物派”的缘起和发展过程,更重要的目的是为了指出“物派”艺术成功的经验,指出中国当代艺术的发展及其困境,并对如何使中国当代艺术真正走向世界,为创建“另一种现代性”提出自己的思考和意见,这才是研究的目的和意义的所在。

This paper researches on Japanese Mono-ha art in the 1960s, and compares it thoroughly with Chinese modern art. Although the two exist in different times and backgrounds, it is still of practical significance to conduct comparative research on them. Mono-ha art is a critical movement in Asian art. It deserves great attention for the form of its works, concept of creation, and the relationship between regional art and modern art. Through the analysis of Mono-ha art in this paper, we will find that the most valuable point of Mono-ha is that it originates from the Oriental art itself, and develops under the background of international culture instead of emerging only as an annotation of the trend of Western thought. It is easy to find that, in the analysis of the characteristics and causes of the development status of Chinese modern art, the problems faced by Chinese modern art and the cultural circumstances of Mono-ha at that time share a lot of similarities. The actions the Mono-ha artists took under the influence of Western centralism and the trend of Western artistic thought, as well as their efforts to build up another modernity different from Western modernity deserve deep contemplation of the Chinese artists. Therefore, during his research, the author takes the history of art as the theoretical basis of the comparative research, and combines the theory with the practice as the research approach. The purpose of this research lies not only in the origination and development of Mono-ha art, but, more importantly, in the fact that, through studying the successful experience of Mono-ha art, we are able to point out the development and its difficulties of Chinese modern art, and the author also puts forward his own thoughts and opinions with regard to how to make Chinese modern art become really international to create a kind of modernity different from the Western one.
